Overview
OP Quiz is a fan-made, non-commercial web application. We respect your privacy and collect as little data as possible.
Personal Data
There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, and no login required to use this site, and we never track who you are. The only personal data we ever hold is what you choose to type into the feedback form.
Feedback Form
When you send feedback, we store the message you wrote, the feedback type, the character you selected (if any), the email address you optionally provided, your language setting, the page you were on, and your browser's user-agent string. This is used only to fix bugs, correct character data, and reply to you if you asked for a reply. We also store a one-way hashed, salted form of your IP address — it cannot be turned back into an IP address and is used only to stop spam. Feedback is stored by Supabase. Please don't include sensitive personal information in your message. To have a submission deleted, send another message through the same form.
Local Storage
Game progress, settings, and preferences are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
Cookies & Analytics
The only cookie we set stores your language preference (op-quiz-locale); preferences and game progress live in localStorage. We use Amplitude for product analytics, configured with default tracking and autocapture disabled, so only the specific gameplay events we define are sent — never personal identifiers. Google AdSense sets additional cookies for advertising — see Advertising below. No social media trackers are present on this site.
Advertising
This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies or read device identifiers to serve, measure and — where you have consented — personalize those ads. We never pass Google your feedback message, your email address or your game progress. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland your advertising choices are collected through a Google-certified consent management platform before any personalized ad loads, and you can change them at any time through that same prompt. Third Parties
We do not sell your data. We rely on a small set of processors: Vercel (hosting, which may collect anonymous server logs as part of standard web hosting), Supabase (storage of feedback submissions), and Amplitude (anonymous product analytics). Google additionally acts as an independent controller for the ads described above.
Children's Privacy
This site does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. If a child under 13 submits feedback with an email address, send a message through the same form and we will delete it.

One Piece and all related character names, images, and marks are trademarks and copyrights of Eiichiro Oda, Shueisha Inc., Toei Animation Co., Ltd., VIZ Media, and Funimation. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these entities. Character images are used under fair use for non-commercial, educational, and entertainment purposes only.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
